That’s probably even better than what I do, thanks for sharing that.

I also ask them how they found me, so I know what’s working and what sources are delivering quality people into my “sphere”…

If they found me via my peddler site, then I often tell them the questions they’re asking me were explained and answered in full detail on the website form which they found me!

Then I answer the un-asked questions…the questions they SHOULD be asking and leave it at that.

Mor e importantly though, how was the Dale Calvert seminar, Donna?

Dan, I appreciate your description of how to sort through potential team members, as I see it. Today I learned an even more abrupt method, not sure if I will apply it or not. Are you curious or serious? Often the answer is curious. The reply to save time is: Ok thanks for calling. When you get serious call me again. Click and hang up. Now THAT will ruffle some feathers for sure.

Good points Soren, however that’s not realistic for most people.

Money, and acquisition of more of it seems to be how and why people think they’ll be happier.

I love what I do, love training people and I STILL get excited when they see success for themselves.

And I’d do it for free except for the fact that free content isn’t always valued by the “you get whay you pay for” mindset. People treat paid commodities as more valuable and pay more attention to them since they paid for it/them.

If you love what you do, then it’s not work, it’s a passion and the passion begets more interested believers, plain and simple.

So, Soren, tell me how does someone alter their mindset to replace “MORE MONEY IS WHY” with something a but more altruistic like “Self development, personal enrichment..is WHY”?

Of course, Dan, that means that most people are “destined” to fail because of the built-in avoidance of promoting oneself. Coupled with the notion that we each have nothing really worth promoting! This is one of those moments in personal and professional growth when we shift the focus and see an entirely different forest that is made of the millions of affiliate trees we have all signed up for. A paradigm shift.
A wake up call. Thanks for another thought provoking post. Stir up some folks here, it will,I think, hmmm?
