3 Sources Of Network Marketing Leads You’ll Never Hear About From Your Upline
If you are like most in the home business industry, you join very excitedly…eager and anxious to be a success and one of the first things you are told is to go out and get network marketing leads to present your business opportunity or product information to.
Typically, most uplines will you you to write down a list of 100 friends and family and start calling them, go hang out at coffee shops, or perhaps even purchase network marketing leads from a company and start calling them.
However, it today’s day and age it isn’t necessary to use those antiquated methods. Instead, the internet provides a literally limitless opportunity to generate leads, strictly from the internet.
Here are 3 ways to generate free network marketing leads from the comfort of your own home and the Internet that your upline will never tell you about:
#1- The first MLM Lead Generation method is to pay for traffic and capture a prospect’s information using something known as a lead capture page. Some typical ways to do this are through pay per click advertising through places like Google, Yahoo, and Bing search engines. You can also purchase advertising on another person’s email list, commonly referred to as ezine advertising.
#2 – Another much-talked about method for network marketing lead generation is through social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube. This method has especially come into vogue the last few years as the popularity of those sites, and the amount of time prospects spend on them has increased.
However, when you are generating free network marketing leads from social media sources, you need to think more in terms of presenting valuable information to a specific audience and entice them to research what you have to offer on another sites where you can capture their information.
#3- Finally, another excellent technique is to harness the immense amount of people who spend time searching for solutions on the search engines like Google and Yahoo.
This is commonly referred to as search engine optimization and it is a process by which you get your website in front of specific searchers looking for certain types of information, also known as keywords.
These are just 3 general ways to harness the Internet as a source of leads for your MLM business or product. The internet is still virtually an untapped resource in the network marketing community and you would be well served to learn how to use it.

A Solution For All Network Marketers Is HERE Click
Attraction Marketing Mistakes people are making
A lot of network marketers have learned that PRACTICING attraction marketing is one of the key to their success, with the other major necessary component being their marketing a funded proposal.
Sometimes teaching people new concepts to implement like attraction marketing is like teaching a child to ride a bike for the first few times; as soon as you take off the training wheels or let go, they fall down.
To PRACTICE attraction marketing you need to PRACTICE it, not write about it.
So why am I writing about it then , isn’t that a two-faced and confusing thing to say (don’t write about but here I am writing about it)?
I guess it might seem that way but my goal here is to tell you not to write about it but instead put it into play for yourself by doing everything but write about it.
I do beleive in transparency when revealing what marketing methods I use for my business, but sometimes you can go too far and confuse your readers when you act like a grade-school teacher who tells their students,
“When writing something here’s the format;
- Tell them what you’re going to tell them,
- Then tell them
- Then tell them what you told them”
While that’s a great format for telling people what you’re writing about in a paragraph, that’s not necessarily what you want to do when you try to “sell-ucate” your prospects and readers.
With attraction marketing to work well, you need to practice what you preach…not just preach.
There’s a big difference there, and once you figure out what that difference is, you can keep the training wheels off for good.
Deadbeat downlines and what to do with them?
Stop me if you’ve heard this one:
You signed up a few new prospects who quickly got a fre friends and/or family members to join under them…
- …but they do nothing else ever again, ever
- …except cancel 6 months down the road
Who’s fault is this, yours or the deadbeat downline who:
- never called you asking for help?
- didn’t apply the training you provided for him?
- didn’t make much effort beyond getting his/her friends and family to cover their costs?
What can you do and what should you do about the deadbeat downlines in your organization?
- Don’t worry about it
- Make the bare minimum effort to alter this reality
#1 – Don’t worry about the deadbeat downlines because they’ll never change their ways unless lightning strikes them in the face.
A lot of people still suffer from the crushingly negative employee mentality whereby they cannot think for themselves and/or take full responsibility for a business.
#2 – Making the bare amount of effort to shake these deadbeats out of their self-induced comas can be done in a few ways:
- Call them once a week or once a month, on Sunday nights offering your support and ask them if they need help with anything.
- Or just email them occasionally showing your support
Basically what you need to do when dealing with deadbeat downlines is accept the fact that there’s no tmuch you can do to change things.
However, if you “rally the troops” consistently you might break through some barriers and wear a deadbeat down and out and into a productive team member.
If you’re doing really well in your organization, you can also start placing people below your downlines so they see you’re really helping them and that they are really making money
Deadbeat AWOL Upline Sponsors + What To Do About Them
In every program, there are always those deadbeat AWOL, Missing In Action sponsors who don’t give their downlines the time of day.
This usually happens when the sponsors are more devoted to promoting and recruiting for themselves than building and helping their team members.
Or it just means that if you call him/her and ask for guidance they’ll have nothing to tell you because they do not have a duplicatable system for recruiting people. Therefore, even if they did return your calls there might not be much they could do for you anyways.
So what should you, the stranded newbie network marketer do in order to get questions answered and the help you need to succeed with your promotion of self and primary?
The first option is always to go to the company support desk and open a ticket if your questions are company product or service-related. Granted, that all IBOs are spokespeople for the companies they represent, but the only questions you should ask your sponsors are marketing and prospecting-related questions.
If your questions are along the lines of “how do I recruit (more) people onto my team?”, then your options are:
- Go above your sponsor’s head and see if you can contact their upline, maybe they have better potential for helping you
- Attend the company training calls
- Learn from other top marketers
1- If/when you go to your upline’s upline for help, remember that there’s 2 degrees of seperation there, therefore this person stands to gain less by helping you than your immediate upline does. So don’t expect much there, but if this person is a true team leader they’ll already have resource available for you to use.
If your upline’s upline does in fact offer you help, support, and training and you don’t have anyone signed up under you yet, cancel your membership to that program and re-join under that more helpful sponsor, ie. your upline’s upline, since they’re more deserving of your enrollment!
2- Attend the company training calls to see if there’s any good value being offered there. In most cases, company training calls are merely case studies in edification of the people speaking and motivation for rallying the troops.
Oftentimes, these calls espouse using the tactics the dinosaurs of mlm and network marketing used to build their businesses starting 10-15 years ago. The most frequent recruiting method suggested on these company training calls is to “go to your warm market”, which means contacting family and friends about this, doing house parties, and practicing the 3 foot rule.
3- Learning from other top recruiters is really the way to go if your deadbeat upline sponsors aren’t replying back to you nor offering any resources that will help you recruit more people. The top recruiters in the network marketing industry don’t attend company training calls, they don’t need help from their uplines, and they are already proven commodities recruiting on a daily basis.
