Question to ask your potential downlines
When you get a call or email from someone who is interested in signing up for your primary program, there are certain questions you need to ask these potential new team members/downlines/personal enrollees:
Since your time is valuable you need to cut to the chase with a litmus test that ascertains what kind of person you’re dealing with here;
Here are the questions I feel will cut to the chase ASAP and in no special order:
- Have you ever done anything with network marketing before?
- Have you had any success in network marketing before?
- Do you have a marketing system that is working for you?
- Do you have a ready-made market to present this opportunity/product to?
- Do you need help training your team?
- What kind of help do you need from me?
A lot of times, it helps to know where you and your newest team member stand before you get involved with each other. All of this assumes you’re not a deadbeat UP line of course.
Once you take this litmus test of your newest team member you can probably expect them to ask you a lot of questions then watch them become productive, or you will know (from the answers you received during your litmus test questionnaire) that this is a true newbie with no success track record, no business skills, and more often than not, no motivation to put any effort forth into building their business.
Knowing this ahead of time saves you from wondering or worrying about their lack of success, which usually has nothing to do with you or your system and speaks to their motivation level.
