The MLM Network Marketing Rulebook

Do you have a rule-book or code-of conduct that you adhere to in your mlm network marketing business?

Like most entrepreneurs, I buy a lot of ebooks, and listen to audios non-stop in my car.  I’m almost ashamed to say that I even miss a few ballgames because of this…playoff games even!

Ah well, that’s what happens when personal self-development takes the front and center stage in your life, and this is also what happens when you develop a personal code of conduct that you adhere to consistently.

Anyways, when you are committed to your business, TRULY committed these aren’t sacrifices you’re making they’re favors you’re doing for yourself!

So here are some rules all business-people should ahere to no matter if it’s MLM, Network Marketing, Niche Marketing, whatever…

Rule #1 – Have a ZERO tolerance policy for negativity in your life and business.

If some hopeless loser unsubscribes from your list, 50% of the time they’ll blame their lack of proper mindset on you and will try to bring you down to their level with their negative comments, willingly or unwillingly.

Friends and family can be negative influences as well, and if you can’t eliminate them from your life, at the very least severely curtail your interactions and conversations with them.

This also means you don’t accept the failure of your downlines as your failure; after all if they did what you do, then they’d be succeeding as well, so there’s a limit to the hand-holding you should do here.

Rule #2 – Value your time like each minute is worth $50.00, or $300.00/hour.

  • This means you don’t spend a lot of time trying to wake the dead downlines
  • This means you don’t spend more than 1-2 hours a week training your downlines
  • This means you spend time doing what works the best for you and your business; branding You Inc, prospecting, and marketing your funded proposals and solutions.

Rule #3 – Devote time to personal enrichment and development

  • This means you buy more ebooks and educate yourself more each and every day.
  • This means you learn from those who have what you want, the success you’re striving for
  • This means you listen to audios repeatedly and read ebooks more than once in their entirety
  • This means you might have to unlearn a lot of what you’ve been taught or think you know that got you to where you are today (almost there!)

Rule #4 – Never forget who you’re talking to:  Always remember that your 3 target markets are

  1. other network marketers,
  2. network marketers,
  3. and when you run out of those ( lol!) business opportunity seekers.

When you write articles, publish blog posts, or advertise remember who your listeners and readers, then expose them to solutions and provide non-stop value to them

There are a lot of rules you can follow, more than be be divulged in one blog post, but remember the important points here:

  1. ZERO tolerance negativity policy,
  2. Value your time above all else,
  3. Devote time to your personal growth since your business growth and income goes hand-in-hand with your personal development.
  4. Remember your target audience.

To simplify what it takes to succeed in network marketing, take these 4 rules above, apply them to your daily regimen, then apply the following two main success principles:

1- Market a funded proposal for cash flow, immediate income and leads generation

2- Brand yourself and You Inc. for your attraction marketing implementation
